Laudato Si' encyclical from Pope Francis
Pope Francis' 2015 encyclical Laudato Si' remains a profound invitation to everyone on the planet to care for our common home.
At St Mary and St Joseph's caring for the common home is central to our school.
Our Eco Warriors led an environmental review to highlight the eco-actions we are doing well and identify the areas to improve. They completed and presented their action plan to the school.
The children are fully committed to improving the world for future generations.
Laudato Si Day - October 2022
This half term we have been working hard to continue to implement the messages from Pope Francis.
Each class took responsibility for an area of the school cleaning and tidying it and spent time exploring how we can care for our common home.
