Overview

At St Mary & St Joseph's the health, safety and well-being of all our children is of paramount importance. Parents send their children to school each day with the expectation that our school provides a secure environment in which their children can flourish. St Mary & St Joseph's ensures that this expectation becomes reality. In order to do this a wide range of measures have been put in place as detailed in the policy documents in column 3 below.
 
 
Esafety support for parents:

Can you answer YES to any of the following statements?

  • I know the online games my child is playing
  • I know the age restrictions and profile information being shared
  • I am aware there is a chat/cam facility within the game
  • I know who my children are communicating with
  • My child and I know how to block/report other users
  • I understand the dangers of pop ups and links
  • I understand and have configured in app purchases.
Use the NSPCC's   TEAM approach (Talk, Explore, Agree, Manage ) to help you and your child be 'esafety aware' online.  Further details can be found here.
 
 
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. If you have a concern about a child please tell somebody who can help.
